Composition of PHS
PHS rod end bearing is a mechanical joint consisting of a housing (body) and a spherical inner ring.Its inner and outer rings are made of high-carbon chromium bearing steel, which undergoes processes such as quenching, grinding, and coating.
It allows both rotational and oscillating motion, compensating for misalignment between connected components.
PHS bearings feature a female (internal) thread, which can be right-hand or left-hand, designed for easy mounting.
Characteristic of PHS
It is typically made of high-strength carbon steel or stainless steel, while the inner ring is crafted from hardened bearing steel (GCr15) for excellent wear resistance and long service life. With its self-aligning capability, the PHS bearing can compensate for slight misalignments and vibration during motion, ensuring smooth rotation and low friction even under heavy loads. Many models are pre-lubricated or lined with PTFE for maintenance-free operation, making them ideal for use in hydraulic cylinders, automation equipment, and various motion control systems that require reliable oscillating movement and high mechanical strength.
