Two DLY size 30 rolling linear guideway samples met the referenced requirements in commissioned testing covering material hardness, machining accuracy, operating noise and preload drag variation.

DLY Linear Guideway Samples Complete Third-Party Testing

Two rolling linear guideway samples manufactured by Zhejiang DLY Automation Manufacturing Co., Ltd. were submitted to Zhejiang Fangyuan Testing Group Co., Ltd. for commissioned testing.

The submitted samples were size 30 rolling linear guideway assemblies. Testing was conducted from October 22 to November 4, 2022, at the Xiasha Qige laboratory and the DLY site.

Seven indicators were evaluated with reference to the T/ZZB document titled "Rolling Linear Guide Pair (Draft for Approval)." According to the issued test conclusion, all evaluated items met the referenced requirements.

Scope note: These figures are the recorded results for the two submitted size 30 samples. They should not be interpreted as guaranteed values for every DLY linear guideway model or production batch.

Recorded Test Results

Test Item Recorded Result Referenced Requirement
Block surface hardness 755.2 HV1 700–800 HV
Rail surface hardness 766.3 HV1 700–800 HV
Block hardened-layer depth at 700 HV 0.85 mm Above the stated minimum
Rail hardened-layer depth at 700 HV 1.53 mm Above the stated minimum
Raceway surface roughness Ra 0.14 μm ≤ Ra 0.4 μm
Parallelism deviation 3 μm ≤ 20 μm
Operating noise 47.2 dB(A) ≤ 70 dB(A)
Preload drag-force variation 6% ≤ 25% for the stated preload condition

Surface Hardness and Hardened-Layer Depth

The recorded surface hardness was 755.2 HV1 for the block and 766.3 HV1 for the guide rail. Both values were within the referenced range of 700–800 HV.

At a hardness level of 700 HV, the measured hardened-layer depth was 0.85 mm for the block and 1.53 mm for the rail. Both measurements were reported as exceeding the applicable minimum depth requirements.

Raceway Finish and Parallelism

The measured surface roughness of the working raceway was Ra 0.14 μm, compared with the referenced maximum of Ra 0.4 μm.

Parallelism deviation was recorded at 3 μm, below the referenced limit of 20 μm. Raceway finish and parallelism are important to smooth movement, load distribution and positioning consistency in a linear guideway assembly.

Operating Noise and Drag-Force Variation

Operating noise was measured at 47.2 dB(A), below the referenced limit of 70 dB(A).

The variation in preload drag force was recorded at 6%, compared with the referenced limit of 25% for the stated preload condition. Stable drag force can help support consistent motion when the rail and block are correctly installed and lubricated.

Laboratory and On-Site Testing

The commissioned testing was conducted at both the Zhejiang Fangyuan laboratory and the DLY site. The report records that certain items were completed using testing facilities located at the company.

This arrangement allowed relevant characteristics to be evaluated using both third-party laboratory resources and on-site equipment while the testing organization remained responsible for the issued conclusion. issued conclusion.

Supporting Quality Evaluation with Measured Data

The test results provide measured information for the evaluated DLY size 30 linear guideway samples. They also offer a reference for continued process control and product evaluation in applications such as machine tools and automation equipment.

For an actual project, product selection should still be based on the required size, load, rigidity, accuracy, block configuration, mounting arrangement and operating environment.
