Zhejiang DLY Automation Manufacturing Co., Ltd. prepared to participate in the first China (Jinyun) Machine Tool and Tool Exhibition, held from November 21 to 23, 2024, at the Jinyun Convention and Exhibition Center in Lishui, Zhejiang.
At Booth B-T43, DLY planned to present ball screws, ball screw nuts, linear guideways, linear bearings, linear shafts and other components used in machine tools and industrial automation.

The exhibition brought machine tools, cutting tools, industrial robots, automation systems and precision measuring equipment together in Jinyun County. It created a regional platform for equipment manufacturers and component suppliers to present their products and discuss manufacturing requirements.
As a manufacturer of rolling functional components, DLY used the exhibition to introduce products that support feed motion, positioning, guidance and load transmission in industrial machinery.

Ball Screws and Ball Screw Nuts
A ball screw converts rotary motion into linear movement through rolling contact between the screw shaft, nut and recirculating balls. Compared with sliding screw mechanisms, ball screws generally provide lower friction, higher transmission efficiency and more consistent movement.
DLY supplies rolled and precision-ground ball screws in different diameters, leads, accuracy grades and nut configurations. Rolled ball screws are commonly selected for general automation and machine feed applications, while ground ball screws are available for systems with more demanding positioning requirements.
Ball screw selection should be based on axial load, required speed, stroke, lead, positioning accuracy, duty cycle and support-bearing arrangement. End machining must match the selected fixed and supported bearing units.
For replacement orders, customers can provide the complete screw and nut model, overall length and end-machining drawing. For new projects, operating data is required to evaluate a suitable configuration.
Linear Guide Rails and Blocks
Linear guideways support and guide moving machine components along a controlled path. A typical ball-type guideway contains a hardened guide rail, one or more guide blocks, recirculating steel balls, return components and seals.
Available configurations include square and flange blocks, standard and long blocks, miniature guideways and heavy-load series. The correct selection depends on load direction, moment load, speed, stroke, mounting space, preload and accuracy requirement.
Machine-base stiffness and mounting accuracy are also important. Even a high-accuracy guideway may develop uneven movement or reduced service life if the rail mounting surfaces are not flat, parallel and correctly aligned.
For replacement projects, the complete rail and block markings should be supplied whenever possible. Rail width, height, mounting-hole spacing and block mounting dimensions can be used to confirm the required interface.
Linear Bearings and Shafts
Linear bearings and hardened linear shafts provide an economical guidance solution for automation equipment, fixtures, packaging machinery, handling systems and other mechanisms requiring linear travel.
Linear bearings are available in closed, open, adjustable and flanged configurations. The bearing structure must correspond with the shaft arrangement, especially when a supported shaft or open bearing housing is used.
Shaft diameter tolerance, surface hardness, surface finish and straightness affect bearing movement and service life. The mounting method and distance between supports should also be evaluated when the shaft carries external loads.
Customers can provide the required shaft diameter, length, tolerance, material, end machining and mounting arrangement for product evaluation.
