Customer Discussions at the DLY Booth
During the exhibition, visitors stopped at the DLY booth to inspect product structures, compare available configurations and discuss the operating conditions of their equipment.
The discussions covered both replacement products and components for new machine designs. Replacement inquiries focused on model identification, mounting dimensions and interchangeability, while new projects required more information about load, speed, stroke and accuracy.
DLY representatives communicated with customers and partners from different markets, including Europe, Southeast Asia and North America. Face-to-face discussions allowed the team to review drawings, product samples and application information more directly.
Visitors discussed product selection and application requirements with the DLY team.
Ball screw models, dimensions and project requirements were discussed at the exhibition.
Ball Screw Assemblies
DLY displayed ball screw assemblies designed to convert rotary motion into linear movement with rolling contact between the screw shaft, nut and recirculating steel balls.
Cold-rolled ball screws attracted attention from visitors looking for a balance between positioning performance, production availability and purchasing cost. DLY mainly supplies cold-rolled ball screws in C5, C7 and C10 accuracy grades, depending on the series and project requirement.
Precision-ground ball screws are also available for applications requiring tighter lead accuracy. Ground options can include C0, C3 and C5 accuracy grades, subject to the selected specification and technical confirmation.
Diameter, lead, nut structure, accuracy, preload, total length and end machining must be confirmed before production. For replacement projects, a complete model and end-machining drawing help reduce identification errors.
Customers reviewed DLY ball screw assemblies and available processing options.
Linear Guideways
DLY also presented linear guide rails and blocks for machine tools, automation systems and industrial equipment. The displayed products allowed visitors to examine rail profiles, block structures, mounting interfaces and sealing arrangements.
Linear guideway selection depends on applied load, moment load, speed, stroke, mounting orientation, required rigidity and available installation space. Square, flange, standard-length and long block configurations are used for different machine structures.
Accuracy and preload should be selected according to the machine requirement. Higher preload can improve rigidity, but it also increases running resistance and installation sensitivity. Rail mounting-surface accuracy must therefore be considered together with the guideway specification.
For replacement inquiries, visitors were encouraged to provide complete rail and block markings as well as rail width, height, hole spacing and block mounting dimensions.
Linear guideway dimensions, configurations and operating requirements were discussed with visitors.
Precision Linear Shafts
Precision linear shafts provide cylindrical running surfaces for linear bearings and related motion components. They are used in automation equipment, packaging machinery, fixtures, conveying systems and other mechanisms requiring guided linear travel.
Important shaft characteristics include diameter tolerance, surface hardness, hardened-layer depth, surface finish and straightness. The correct requirements depend on the bearing type, shaft length, support arrangement and applied load.
DLY supplies standard and customized linear shafts in different diameters and lengths. End machining, threaded holes, steps, flats and other features can be evaluated according to customer drawings.
Customers requiring a replacement shaft should provide its diameter, total length, material, tolerance, surface treatment and end details whenever available.
DLY discussed precision shafts and other linear motion requirements with exhibition visitors.
Manufacturing and Customization Discussions
In addition to standard products, exhibition visitors asked about customized lengths, ball screw end machining, nut configurations, guide rail cutting, shaft processing and packaging requirements.
Custom production must be reviewed according to the drawing, material, accuracy, quantity and processing requirements. A technically complete inquiry allows the engineering and production teams to confirm feasibility before quotation.
The discussions at CIIF 2025 helped connect customer requirements with DLY's production capabilities and clarified which technical information is needed for accurate product selection.
Continued Support After CIIF 2025
DLY appreciates the customers, distributors and industry representatives who visited Booth 4.1H-A030 during CIIF 2025. The exhibition created opportunities to review products directly and discuss the requirements of different machines and markets.
Although the exhibition has concluded, customers can continue to submit models, drawings and application information for review. DLY provides ball screws, linear guideways, precision shafts and related components for industrial motion systems.
