DLY supplies matched ball screw component sets for machine builders, automation integrators and industrial distributors. The ball screw, support units, lock nut, coupling and nut housing can be managed under one bill of materials rather than purchased and identified separately.
Each order is configured according to the buyer's machine model, axis designation or project code. The confirmed component combination can be recorded for sample approval, batch production and repeat purchasing, helping buyers maintain the same supply configuration across multiple machines or production batches.

BOM-Based Component Supply
The set is created from the customer's required component list. Its contents are not limited to a fixed retail kit. DLY can supply the transmission and mounting parts needed for a specific machine design under one item list and quotation.
| BOM Item | Supply Scope | Confirmation Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Screw and Nut | Transmission pair required for the specified machine axis | Buyer's model, drawing or approved sample |
| Fixed-Side Unit | Bearing support and axial locating component | Shaft interface and mounting arrangement |
| Support-Side Unit | Corresponding support for the opposite shaft end | Support-side interface and housing style |
| Lock Nut | Locking component used with the fixed-side arrangement | Confirmed thread specification |
| Coupling | Mechanical connection between the drive motor and screw shaft | Motor shaft and screw-side connection sizes |
| Nut Housing | Mounting component between the nut and machine carriage | Nut body and flange interface |
Only the components listed in the approved BOM are included. Buyers can specify their own part numbers or project codes so that the supplied items correspond with their internal purchasing and assembly records.
Component Interface Coordination

Supplying several related parts under one BOM requires more than placing them in the same shipment. Their connection interfaces must correspond with the approved configuration.
DLY checks the relationship between the shaft ends and bearing supports, the fixed-side thread and lock nut, the screw-side and motor-side coupling bores, and the nut body and its mounting housing. This coordination helps reduce purchasing errors caused by ordering related parts under separate specifications.
Shaft to Support
Bearing-seat and mounting dimensions are checked against the selected fixed and support-side units.
Thread to Lock Nut
The locking component is confirmed against the fixed-side thread used in the approved arrangement.
Screw to Motor
Both coupling bore sizes are recorded to correspond with the screw connection and customer's motor shaft.
Nut to Carriage
The optional housing is selected according to the nut interface and the buyer's mounting requirement.
Support Arrangements for Different Machine Designs

Different equipment designs use different support housing forms. DLY can include BK/BF, EK/EF or FK/FF series in the component BOM according to the approved machine layout.
| Arrangement | Housing Form | BOM Identification |
|---|---|---|
| BK / BF | Square fixed-side and support-side combination | Recorded as a corresponding support pair |
| EK / EF | Compact square fixed-side and support-side combination | Recorded for compact machine layouts |
| FK / FF | Round flange fixed-side and support-side combination | Recorded for flange-mounted structures |
The buyer may specify the required series directly. If the support arrangement is already defined in the machine drawing, the drawing reference or internal component code can be included in the order record.
Multi-Axis and Multi-Machine Supply
Equipment manufacturers often require different component combinations for the X, Y and Z axes of the same machine. Other projects may involve several machine models or repeated units of the same production equipment.
DLY can organize these requirements under separate axis, machine or project references. This allows one purchase order to contain several configurations without treating every loose component as an unrelated item.
| Order Structure | Possible Identification | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| One Machine, Multiple Axes | Machine A – X / Y / Z | Separates different axis configurations during assembly |
| Multiple Machine Models | Model A / Model B / Model C | Distinguishes different equipment BOMs in one order |
| Production Batch | Project code + batch number | Supports receiving, stock control and production scheduling |
| Distributor Inventory | Buyer's SKU or item number | Supports local identification and repeat purchasing |
Configuration Records for Repeat Orders
A confirmed configuration can be associated with the buyer's item number, machine model or project reference. For later orders, the previous record provides a clear basis for reconfirming the required component combination.
When drawings, motors or mounting structures change, the buyer should issue a new revision or updated BOM. DLY will treat the revised configuration separately to avoid mixing it with the previously approved version.
Initial Confirmation
Confirm the BOM, interfaces, identification method and required quantity.
Sample Approval
Evaluate the first supplied configuration before volume purchasing when required.
Batch Supply
Produce and organize the approved component combination for the confirmed order.
Repeat Purchase
Reference the approved item number while reconfirming quantity and revision status.
Project Identification and Grouped Packaging
For orders containing several configurations, components can be grouped according to the confirmed machine, axis or project reference. Identification labels may include the buyer's item number, DLY product reference, axis designation, quantity and package number.
Grouped packaging helps receiving and assembly teams distinguish similar-looking parts. The final labeling and grouping method should be confirmed before production, especially when one shipment contains components for several equipment models.
| Identification Field | Example |
|---|---|
| Customer Item Number | Buyer-assigned SKU or BOM code |
| Machine Reference | Machine model or production-line number |
| Axis Reference | X-axis, Y-axis, Z-axis or station number |
| Revision | Drawing or BOM revision supplied by the buyer |
| Package Number | Carton, bundle or wooden-case identification |
B2B Applications
Information Required for a B2B Quotation
For project-based or recurring supply, please send the available BOM, drawings and identification requirements. At minimum, DLY needs the product reference, quantity and list of accessories required for each configuration.
| Required Information | Details |
|---|---|
| Buyer or Project Reference | Customer item number, machine model or project code |
| Component BOM | Required screw, support units, lock nut, coupling and housing |
| Interface Information | Applicable drawing and motor connection size |
| Axis or Machine Grouping | How different configurations should be separated |
| Label Requirements | Buyer's part number, axis name or other reference |
| Order Quantity | Sample quantity and expected batch requirement |
| Revision Status | Current drawing or BOM revision for production |
