Q1: Can I buy only the ball screw nut without the screw shaft?
Yes, DLY can supply ball screw nuts alone. However, for replacement orders, the nut must match the screw shaft diameter, lead, raceway and thread direction. Please provide the old nut model, photos or drawing before ordering.
Q2: Are ball screw nuts interchangeable between different brands?
Not always. Even if the model name looks similar, the raceway profile, preload, flange dimensions and return structure may be different. It is better to confirm with drawings or samples.
Q3: What is the difference between SFU and DFU ball screw nuts?
SFU is a common single flange nut type for general ball screw systems. DFU is a double nut type, usually selected when the application requires better rigidity and reduced axial clearance.
