Parameter influence: The diameter is correlated with the load capacity, and the larger the diameter, the stronger the axial load capacity. For example, a screw with a diameter of 63mm can withstand loads of hundreds of tons and is suitable for medium-sized presses, injection moulding machines, etc.
Optional Recommendation: It is recommended to choose from the 16~63mm range according to load requirements. Exceeding specifications requires customization.

2. Lead (pitch)

Common specifications: 5mm to 40mm, etc. Large lead products (such as 25mm and above) are mostly used in high-speed scenarios.
Parameter influence: The lead determines the linear motion speed (lead x speed=linear velocity), but excessive lead may reduce transmission accuracy. For example, a lead screw with a lead of 10mm can achieve a linear velocity of 1m/s at a speed of 1000rpm.
Selection suggestion: Small to medium lead (5-10mm) is suitable for high-precision scenarios, while large lead (16mm or more) is suitable for high-speed scenarios.

3. Length

Parameter range: The total length of standard products is usually ≤ 6m, and extra-long specifications (such as 16m or more) need to be customized.
Parameter influence: The length affects the rigidity and critical speed of the screw, and a special design is required when the aspect ratio (length/diameter) is greater than 70. For example, a screw with a diameter of 63 mm and a length of 6 m, with a length-to-diameter ratio of approximately 95, requires optimization of the support structure to avoid vibration.
Selection suggestion: Priority should be given to standard products, and gear rack replacement solutions can be considered for ultra-long requirements.
