DLY TBR linear guide rail is a supported round-shaft motion system consisting of a TB rail and a matching TBR flanged bearing block. The continuous aluminum support helps the steel shaft resist deflection, while the wide block flange provides a practical mounting surface for moving tables and machine components.
The series includes TB16, TB20, TB25 and TB30 rails. Standard lengths are available for each size, and rails can also be cut according to the required machine stroke or installation drawing. It is commonly used in woodworking equipment, packaging machinery, positioning tables, material-handling devices and general industrial automation.

TB Rail and TBR Block
The rail and block use related but different model prefixes. TB16, TB20, TB25 and TB30 identify the supported rail sizes shown in the dimensional drawing. The matching TBR bearing block travels along the shaft and provides the flange used to connect the moving component.
Supported Steel Shaft
The bearing-steel or high-carbon-steel shaft is supported along its length instead of being fixed only at the ends.
Continuous Aluminum Base
The base provides a mounting surface and helps limit shaft bending across a longer travel distance.
Flanged Moving Block
The wide TBR block flange allows the machine table or moving plate to be mounted directly from above.
Rail Dimensions
Dimensions are stated in millimetres. Weight values refer to the rail weight per metre, not the total shipping weight of a cut rail.
| Rail Model | Shaft Ø | E | h | B | H | T | X | C | θ | S1 | a1 | a2 | d1 | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| TB16 | 16 | 25 | 22.14 | 50 | 14.84 | 6 | 8 | 37 | 60°/50° | Ø5.5 | 6 | 9.5 | 5.5 | 2.56 kg/m |
| TB20 | 20 | 27.5 | 29.01 | 55 | 19.64 | 8 | 8 | 40 | 60°/50° | Ø5.5 | 6.5 | 11 | 6.6 | 4.23 kg/m |
| TB25 | 25 | 32.5 | 31.97 | 65 | 20 | 10 | 8 | 45 | 60°/50° | Ø6.6 | 6.5 | 11 | 6.6 | 5.85 kg/m |
| TB30 | 30 | 37.5 | 36.52 | 75 | 22.28 | 12 | 10.3 | 55 | 60°/50° | Ø6.6 | 8.5 | 14 | 9 | 8.28 kg/m |
Rail material: bearing steel or high-carbon steel. The support base is aluminum. Final material configuration can be confirmed according to the order specification.

Standard Rail Lengths
| Model | Standard Lengths L (mm) | End Distance N (mm) | Mounting Pitch P (mm) | Maximum Length (mm) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TB16 | 190 / 340 / 640 / 940 | 20 | 150 | 6000 |
| TB20 | 340 / 640 / 940 / 1240 | 20 | 150 | 6000 |
| TB25 | 250 / 450 / 850 / 1250 | 25 | 200 | 6000 |
| TB30 | 450 / 850 / 1250 / 1450 | 25 | 200 | 6000 |
Lengths exceeding 6000 mm can be arranged as joined rail sections. The joint position, total length and mounting-hole arrangement should be confirmed with a drawing before production.
Selecting a TBR Rail System
Shaft diameter alone is not enough to determine the correct rail. Selection should also account for the unsupported machine span, moving load, block quantity, travel length, installation space and expected operating environment.
- Confirm the rail size: select TB16, TB20, TB25 or TB30 according to the required shaft diameter and available mounting space.
- Specify the block arrangement: state the required TBR block model and the number of blocks installed on each rail.
- Provide the final rail length: indicate whether a standard length or a cut-to-length rail is required.
- Check the hole layout: custom cutting can change the end distance, so the final mounting-hole positions should be shown on the drawing.
- Describe the operating conditions: dust, wood chips, moisture and contamination may affect lubrication and protection requirements.
Installation Considerations
The mounting surface should be flat, clean and free from burrs before the rail is positioned. For two-rail assemblies, install and align the reference rail first, then adjust the second rail while moving the table through its full stroke. Tightening all fasteners before checking parallelism may create uneven resistance or block binding.
After alignment, move the carriage manually to check for local tight spots. Lubrication should reach the internal ball circuit of the TBR block, and exposed shafts should be kept clean to reduce contamination entering the bearing.

FAQ
Q: Why does the rail use a TB model while the product is called TBR?
A: TB identifies the supported rail, while TBR normally identifies the matching flanged linear bearing block. Together they form the TBR supported round-rail system.
Q: Does the listed kg/m value include the TBR block?
A: No. The listed value is the approximate weight per metre of the TB rail assembly. Block quantity and rail length must be considered separately when estimating total shipment weight.
Q: Can the rail be cut between standard mounting holes?
A: Cut-to-length production is available, but the remaining end distance and hole position should be checked before cutting. A drawing is recommended when the end-hole layout is important.
Q: How many TBR blocks should be used on one rail?
A: The number depends on load direction, moment load, table size and rail spacing. Two blocks per rail are commonly used when a moving platform must resist pitching or yawing moments, but the final arrangement should be checked for the machine design.
Q: What information is needed for a quotation?
A: Please provide the TB rail size, rail length, TBR block model, block quantity, order quantity and any special mounting-hole or joining requirements. A dimensional drawing can be supplied when the configuration is non-standard.
